Show-level trailers

A show-level trailer is a 60-second piece of audio designed to attract new listeners and grow your show’s audience.

Recording a trailer increases the discoverability of your podcast and gives you the opportunity to gain new listeners by giving them an exciting preview of what your show's all about.

Episode-level trailers

An episode-level trailer is a great way to tease an upcoming episode.

To create an episode-level trailer on web:

  1. Click New Episode then Create an episode, and go to Library.
  2. Find the audio segment you'd like to use as your trailer with and drag it into your episode builder on the right hand side of your screen.
  3. Click Save episode.
  4. On the Episode options page, find Customize this episode and choose Trailer as your episode type.
  5. Give your trailer a title, description, and publish date.
    Tip: Adjust the publish date to choose where in your episode list the trailer appears.
  6. Click Publish now or Schedule episode at the top of the page.

To create an episode-level trailer on the mobile app:

  1. Tap Tools then the + icon, and go to your Library tab.
  2. Tap the + icon next to the audio segment you'd like to use as your trailer, then Add segment to episode.
  3. On the next screen, tap Publish.
  4. Change Episode type to Trailer episode.
  5. Give your trailer a title, description, and publish date.
    Tip: Adjust the publish date to choose where in your episode list the trailer appears.
  6. Tap Publish now or Schedule.
