Anchor is now part of Spotify for Podcasters
The new Spotify for Podcasters combines the experiences of Spotify’s podcasting suite all in one place. How you use Spotify for Podcasters depends on whether your podcast is hosted with Spotify (formerly Anchor) or hosted on another platform.
- If your podcast is hosted with Spotify (formerly Anchor), check out the section below called Hosted with Spotify.
- If your podcast is hosted with Megaphone, refer to the section below titled Hosted with Megaphone.
- If your podcast is hosted elsewhere, check out the section below called Hosted somewhere else.
If you’re not sure which login option to choose, remember that your hosting service is where you upload your files to get distributed to Spotify. If you upload your files using a platform like Buzzsprout or Libsyn, head to the Hosted somewhere else section - your podcast is distributed to Spotify, but not hosted with Spotify.
Hosted with Spotify
Log in at http://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/login
Hosting with Spotify offers you the ability to distribute your content to other platforms, ways to monetize your content, and access to all of our creation tools to help you make your show.
If you previously used Anchor, you log in with the same credentials or method you used with Anchor. Your episodes, analytics, and earnings aren't affected by Anchor becoming Spotify for Podcasters.
Hosted with Megaphone
Log in at https://megaphone.spotify.com/
If you’re hosted with Megaphone, continue to use Megaphone to manage your podcast. You can use Spotify for Podcasters as a supplemental tool to check on your show’s Spotify analytics and utilize Spotify’s fan engagement tools like polls and Q&A.
You’ll need to connect a Spotify account to Spotify for Podcasters in order to log in. If you’ve previously used a Spotify account to log in, you can continue doing so. If you don’t have a Spotify account, or want to create a new one, you can do so here.
Hosted somewhere else
Log in at http://podcasters.spotify.com/dash
If your podcast is hosted with Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Podbean, or any other host, you can use Spotify for Podcasters as a way to check how your podcast’s performing on Spotify, and interact with your Spotify listeners using tools like polls and Q&A.
Some creators also have the ability to upload video episodes on Spotify – you can check whether or not you have access by heading to your Spotify for Podcasters account.
You’ll need to connect a Spotify account to Spotify for Podcasters in order to sign up, then claim your podcast on Spotify for Podcasters.
If you had access to Spotify for Podcasters before the switch, you can continue to log in using your Spotify account.
